What did the fish say when he ran into a wall? “Dam.” And Damn is right…I ran straight into that wall.
If you’re here reading this, however, I have some good news for you… I climbed over that ‘damn’ metaphorical wall and peace was waiting on the other side. Though I do not wish it upon anyone, we all must feel some sort of pain in our lives before we experience a breakthrough into finding peace and purpose for being here.
I wrote The Age of Wonderful Nonsense, for one reason – to serve as a road-map for those searching to live a successful, peaceful, and purpose-filled life.
I believe that inner peace is the new success in the world we live in today. All of us are struggling between the kid we used to be and the adult we’d like to be. We all deserve to be happy and live the life we were destined to live – not ‘floating around accidental-like on a breeze’ as Forrest Gump would say.
I created a Five-Step process to finding P.E.A.C.E in your life (Purpose, Escaping your past, Action, Change, and Empathy) in hopes of guiding as many people I can to living a successful, happy, and purpose-filled life.
The Book follows my personal journey through my Roaring 20’s and the Great Depression I found at the end of it. But don’t worry, it’s not all depressing. If you like Dad jokes and California burritos, you’re in for a good read.
In addition, I created a Work Book filled with worksheets and tangible steps for readers to embark on their own Peace Quest. See, I am a decent human now.
My great hope is that our mission on this quest of life will not be to simply survive but to come alive through passion, purpose and ultimately peace. I believe that we become what we are committed to. I may have a background in pain, but I am committed to a future in P.E.A.C.E.
